Homage to the late Major George Preddy, depicting him flying in his last aircraft, the Mustang P-51 D.

Preddy was born and raised in Greensboro, NC and is the leading P-51 Mustang Ace during WW II, credited with 27 aerial victories. Major Preddy was killed in action on Christmas Day, 1944 during the Battle of the Bulge… a victim of "Friendly Fire".
